Our team will guide you through basic rules, safety guidelines, and game formats before you start, so even first-timers can join in with confidence.

Important Safety Rules for Paintball

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:

• Safety First:
  All players must attend the safety briefing and follow the instructions of Nelo’s staff at all times.

• Protective Gear:
  Approved paintball masks and any other required protective gear must be worn at all times while on the field or in the active game area.

• No Unauthorised Equipment:
  Only paintball markers, gear, and paintballs provided or approved by Nelo’s Farmyard and Adventure may be used.

• Safe Behaviour:

  • No physical contact, pushing, or aggressive behaviour.

  • No shooting at close range where prohibited by the marshal.

  • Markers may only be fired in designated game areas.

• Spectators:
  Spectators must remain behind the safety line or in designated viewing areas and follow staff guidance.

• Medical Concerns:
  Paintball is an active, high-energy activity. Guests with medical conditions, injuries, or mobility concerns should consult with staff before participating and may be advised not to play.

Understanding Your Paintball Pass

• Your Paintball pass gives you access to:

  • The paintball target practice for the booked session

• The Paintball pass does NOT automatically include:

  • Other paid activities (e.g., Quad Bikes, Go-Karts, Zip-lining, etc.).

  • Access to pay-per-use attractions such as the Petting Zoo, Swimming Pools, or other specialised activities – these require separate tickets.

• The Paintball pass does not grant adults permission to use children’s play equipment (jumping castles, slides, etc.). These are strictly for designated age groups.

Important Terms & Conditions for Paintball Entry

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing your Paintball ticket:

• Ticket Validity:
  Your Paintball ticket is valid only for the specific date selected at the time of purchase.

• Non-Exchangeable & Non-Transferable:
  Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred to another person, or moved to a different date once purchased. Please ensure your chosen date and time suit your group before making payment.

• No Refunds:
  In line with our general refund policy, no refunds will be issued due to:

  • Change of mind

  • Late arrival or inability to attend

  • Non-compliance with premises or safety rules resulting in denied participation or expulsion

• Picnic Baskets:
  You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket.

  • A R100 charge applies per picnic basket brought onto the premises.

  • We encourage you to also support our on-site Restaurant and Tuck Shop for snacks and meals.

• No Alcohol Policy:
  ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
  Nelo’s Farmyard and Adventure enforces a strict no-alcohol policy for the safety and enjoyment of all guests, especially children.

  • Any person found bringing or consuming alcohol on-site will be immediately removed and permanently banned from the property without refund.

• Premises Rules & Indemnity:

  • All visitors must obey the rules, signage, and instructions given by Nelo’s staff and marshals.

  • Failure to follow paintball safety rules or general premises rules may lead to immediate removal from the activity and/or premises without refund.

  • By purchasing a Paintball ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these terms, as well as Nelo’s Farmyard and Adventure’s full Terms and Conditions and Indemnity Policy.
