Tickets & Entry
You can easily purchase your tickets online through our website’s Buy Tickets page. Simply select your desired ticket types, provide your details, agree to our terms, make a secure payment, and your unique QR code ticket will be sent directly to your email.
The General Entry ticket (R50 per person) provides access to all Play Areas (Little Explorers 0-2 Years, Kid Ventures 2-14 Years), the Petting Zoo, Swimming Pools, and shaded Picnic Areas. IMPORTANT: If you purchase a ticket for Zip-lining, Go-Karts, or Quad Bikes, the R50 General Entry fee is not automatically waived for that person – entry is not included with your activity pass!
No, you don’t have to print it! You can simply present the QR code on your mobile device to our staff at the entrance for scanning. However, printing is an option if you prefer.

Operating Hours & Visit Planning
We are open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Yes! We are open every day during school holidays and on all public holidays, from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM, for extended family fun.
On Thursdays and Fridays, Nelo’s Farmyard and Adventure is open exclusively for pre-arranged Group Bookings and School Excursions from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Please contact us to plan your special group visit. We are closed to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays (outside of public/school holidays).
Last entry is typically one hour before closing time (5:00 PM).
Activities & Attractions
We offer a wide range of activities including: Go-Karts, Quad Biking, Zip-lining, dedicated Play Areas for 0-2 years and 2-14 years, a Petting Zoo, Swimming Pools, and soon, a Water Park! We also have hanging bridges, an inflatable trampoline, obstacle jumping castles, and more.
Yes, for your safety: * Go-Karts: Have height restrictions (details available at the course). * Quad Bikes: Riders must be 12 years or older to operate independently. Smaller children can ride with an adult at their own risk. * Our play areas are specifically designed for 0-2 years (Little Explorers) and 2-14 years (Kid Ventures).

Yes! We have a convenient Tuck Shop for snacks and drinks, and a Restaurant serving delicious meals to refuel your adventure.
Premises Rules & What to Bring
Yes, picnic baskets are allowed but kindly note that a R100 charge applies per picnic basket brought onto the premises. Please support our on-site Restaurant and Tuck Shop for your convenience.
NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Nelo’s Farmyard and Adventure maintains a strict no-alcohol policy for the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, especially children. Any person found bringing or consuming alcohol on the premises will be immediately removed and permanently banned from the property.
We recommend bringing sunscreen, hats, comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for active play, swimwear (if you plan to use the pools), and plenty of enthusiasm!
Safety & Facilities
Your family’s safety is our highest priority. We have well-planned spaces with rounded corners and soft surfaces, secure zones for clear child visibility, dedicated staff oversight, and conduct regular equipment checks on all rides and attractions. Please also review our full Indemnity Policy page.
Yes, you are welcome to capture your family’s fun for personal memories! During ticket purchase, you have the option to give permission for photos and videos featuring you/your family to be used in Nelo’s marketing efforts.
Absolutely! Our “Little Explorers” (0-2 years) area is specifically designed for your tiny adventurers, featuring a soft-play area, small wooden jungle gym, dollhouses, and a baby pool where little ones can enjoy splashing in walking rings.
